Over 20 years ago, the Miranda and Mayagoitia families first crossed paths through their shared work in stone. What began as a connection between two families grew into years of trust, craftsmanship, and hands-on experience in the industry. After decades of working around natural stone, fabrication, and construction, both families saw an opportunity to bring their strengths together and create something of their own.
Mirastone was founded with a simple goal: to build a stone company that combines family values, skilled craftsmanship, modern fabrication, and reliable service.
In 2024, Mirastane moved into its new fabrication shop and office near 28th Street and Broadway. This move marked an important step forward for the company, giving the team the space to improve operations, invest in new machinery, refine fabrication processes, and deliver a higher level of quality on every project.

Technology supports our work, but people define the result. From slab selection to templating, fabrication and installation, our team brings experience, care, and precision to every project. For templating, we use a combination of proven methods, including LPI’s Laser Templating system, helping us capture accurate measurements and translate them into precise fabrication.
